WILDCAT CREEK RIVER SEGMENTS
North Fork: Howard Co. Nature Study Area to Greentown
Distance: At 0.7 miles this section
takes less than 1 hour to float.
River Features: Near the end of the
trip the creek becomes lake-like at the headwaters of
the reservoir. Just before the US 35 bridge, on the right
bank, is a concrete boat ramp that is the take-out at
Greentown Park.

Important: The
river is constantly changing. Hazards like log jams and tree falls
will come and go, so always be ready for them. Riffles will appear
and disappear based on water flow levels. Do not attempt boating
on this or any river during high water. Please be safe, respectful
and responsible on the river. |
